BLAYDES, Richard - Putnam

Blaydes, Richard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bladyes and Grandson of Mr. and Mrs. O. Blaydes, died at Indianapolis Saturday morning at age 11. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the Resident, with burial in Lebanon (Roachdale) Cemetery.

Blaydes, Richard Elmer, beloved son of Roy Elmer and Mildred Blades was born 31 December 1932, and died in the early morning hours of 1 April 1944, following a 2 weeks illness in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents; a Great Grandmother, Mrs. Henrietta Ball of Bainbridge, a great Aunt Mrs. Oscar Batman of Roachdale; Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. O. B. Bladyes of Roachdale and Mr. and Mrs. F. Ginn of Indianapolis.
